Murex Certifies MX.3 Platform for Google Cloud Deployment
Financial institutions can now deploy the MX.3 capital markets platform on Google Cloud, a move designed to modernize trading and risk management infrastructure. The partnership aims to provide firms with greater flexibility for critical workloads while meeting stringent regulatory and operational resilience standards across global markets.
The certification marks a significant step for Murex, allowing clients to leverage Google Cloud’s infrastructure for data-intensive operations, including intraday analytics and counterparty risk calculations. By moving these core functions to a cloud-native environment, firms gain access to automated scaling and advanced cybersecurity tools, which are increasingly vital for protecting sensitive financial data.
Jean-Gabriel Eddé, an Executive Committee member at Murex, noted that the collaboration addresses the growing demand for multi-cloud strategies, giving firms the freedom to choose environments that align with their specific business objectives. Georgina Bulkeley, managing director of Global Financial Services at Google Cloud, added that the integration combines Google’s expertise in AI and data analytics with the established MX.3 architecture to help banks and investment firms accelerate their digital transformation.
