Jobber Launches AI Agent to Automate Home Service Business Operations

The new agent functions by learning individual business preferences, allowing owners to maintain oversight while delegating repetitive work. Ryaan Tuttle, founder of Best Handyman Boston, noted the utility of such tools during unpredictable shifts, such as rescheduling appointments due to inclement weather. Jobber Teammate is currently in beta, with early access available to existing customers starting today.

Expanding Platform Capabilities

Alongside the AI agent, Jobber introduced a suite of tools targeting larger, complex operations. The new Projects feature organizes long-term work into distinct milestones and phases, while updated Crew Scheduling allows businesses to manage teams and subcontractors as singular units rather than individual workers. To improve visibility, the company also launched Jobber Bookkeeping, which integrates expense tracking and supplier invoices directly with operational data. Additional AI features include a custom report builder and integrated phone calling with automated follow-up actions. These updates aim to centralize financial and operational management, reducing the reliance on manual spreadsheets for growing service firms.
