Peachtree Entertainment to Operate New 2,200-Capacity Lexington Venue

The project represents a significant bet on the city’s regional appeal. Positioned within a day’s drive of major hubs like Nashville, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis, the venue is designed to draw both local crowds and traveling concertgoers. New renderings reveal a facility equipped with six bars, two outdoor decks, and a flexible floor plan capable of transitioning from theater-style seating to standing-room concerts. Beyond standard performance logistics, the space includes dedicated artist lounges and dressing rooms to attract high-profile touring talent.

Daren Turner, founder of The Commons, envisions the venue as the final piece of a destination development built on the site of a former tobacco processing campus. The site currently hosts over thirty businesses, and integration with the surrounding dining and hospitality options remains central to the business model. Dustin Labbe, SVP of Booking for Peachtree Entertainment, noted that the site’s intentional design focuses on sightlines and proximity to the stage, ensuring that even in a larger 2,200-capacity room, the atmosphere remains immersive for the audience. The first wave of headlining shows is expected to be announced before the end of the year.
