SPM Communications Adds L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, Sunfly and Puttery
Dallas-based public relations firm SPM Communications has secured three new accounts, expanding its footprint in the dining and entertainment sectors. The agency plans to leverage its proprietary generative engine optimization strategies to drive brand visibility for these diverse companies as it maintains its position on the PR News Agency Elite 120 list.

The agency’s new partnerships span a range of market stages and business models. L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, a legacy brand with over 240 locations, has tapped SPM to amplify its profile among both consumers and prospective franchisees. Meanwhile, the firm is preparing for the October 2026 debut of Sunfly, a premium drive-thru beverage concept focused on functional ingredients like collagen and lion’s mane. The roster expansion also includes Puttery, an indoor mini-golf and dining concept with 10 locations across major U.S. markets including Chicago, Dallas, and New York City.
Founder and president Suzanne Miller noted that the agency intends to pair traditional media storytelling with its specialized focus on AI-driven search discovery. This approach centers on what the firm calls Engineered Brand Discoverability, a strategy that has contributed to SPM maintaining a client Net Promoter Score of 82. The firm continues to support its existing portfolio of national brands, such as Chuck E. Cheese and Einstein Bros. Bagels, as it refines its methods for navigating emerging discovery channels.
