VentureIsrael Promotes Evgenia Zaslavskaya to Venture Partner
After managing public relations for the firm since 2022, veteran communications strategist Evgenia Zaslavskaya has joined VentureIsrael as a Venture Partner. The appointment integrates her expertise directly into the fund’s leadership, aiming to amplify the global visibility of the firm and its deep-tech portfolio companies across international markets.
Zaslavskaya brings over 15 years of experience to the role, including her tenure as the founder and CEO of the international agency Zecomms. Her work was recognized in 2025 when she was named Best Leader in Public Relations and Communications at the Davos Communications Awards. In her new capacity, she will lead the firm’s international communications strategy while serving as a dedicated resource for founders within the fund’s ecosystem.
Managing Partner Rafael Gold noted that the move reflects a shift toward embedding strategic communications directly into the investment process. By formalizing this collaboration, the fund intends to provide its portfolio companies with immediate access to professional positioning tools to help navigate markets in the US, the UK, and beyond. VentureIsrael currently ranks as the third most active venture investor in the country, with a focus on AI, quantum technologies, and cybersecurity.
