Fruit Attraction 2026 targets expansion in Middle Eastern markets
With 121,000 professionals expected to converge on Madrid, the 18th edition of Fruit Attraction is positioning itself as a critical bridge between global producers and the Middle East. The October 6-8 event leverages new trade partnerships to integrate emerging markets into the established international fresh produce supply chain.

The trade show will host over 2,500 companies across 162,000 square meters, solidifying its status as a premier hub for growers, retailers, and logistics operators. This year’s expansion includes fresh participation from countries such as Armenia, Japan, Malaysia, and Tanzania, diversifying the sourcing options available to global buyers.
A centerpiece of the event is the International Buyers Program, which brings 700 key purchasing decision-makers from more than 50 countries to Madrid. By designating China and the United Arab Emirates as Guest Importing Countries, organizers aim to accelerate trade flows into these strategic regions. Beyond commerce, the program features the Innovation Hub Awards and specialized forums focused on sustainability, providing a platform for technical experts to address current industry shifts.
