PostalAnnex Opens New Service Hub at Stanford University
Tucked away on the second floor of the Tresidder Memorial Union, a new PostalAnnex franchise has opened its doors to serve the Stanford University campus. Owner Kent Chu aims to streamline daily logistics for students and faculty by providing centralized shipping, printing, and mailbox services in the heart of the university.
The facility at 459 Lagunita Drive offers a suite of services designed for an academic environment, including shipping through UPS, FedEx, and USPS, alongside passport photo processing and document printing. For Chu, the location serves as a critical resource for those managing tight academic schedules, offering a convenient alternative for returning online purchases or shipping personal belongings.
Patrick Edd, CEO and President of San Diego-based Annex Brands, views the campus expansion as a strategic fit for the company’s service model. By embedding the business within the university, the franchisor intends to provide the reliability and efficiency that the campus community demands. Annex Brands, which began operations in 1985, currently oversees more than 800 locations across North America, including brands like Pak Mail and AIM Mail Centers.
