Alarum Technologies Investors Face October 5 Deadline in Fraud Lawsuit

Investors who acquired Alarum Technologies securities between March 20, 2025, and July 2, 2026, have until October 5, 2026, to seek lead plaintiff status in a federal class action lawsuit. The litigation targets the company over claims it concealed unauthorized proxy network practices conducted by its subsidiary, NetNut.

The complaint alleges that Alarum Technologies misled shareholders by failing to disclose that NetNut utilized customer home internet devices without consent. This practice reportedly allowed cybercriminals to mask their locations, significantly increasing the company’s legal and regulatory exposure. The allegations surfaced publicly on July 2, 2026, when the firm announced that the FBI had seized certain domains associated with NetNut. Following this disclosure, Alarum’s American Depositary Shares plummeted by 51.49% on July 6, 2026.

Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP, which is spearheading the investigation, invites affected shareholders to review their legal options. While investors may choose to remain absent class members, those interested in serving as lead plaintiff must file a motion with the court by the October 5 deadline. The firm is also seeking information from whistleblowers, former employees, and other parties with insight into the company's business operations during the class period.
