Marking nine decades in the industry, Columbus Vegetable Oils has officially opened a high-capacity packing and distribution center in North Las Vegas. This rail-served expansion signals a strategic push to bolster the company’s supply chain reach and production volume across the entire West Coast market.
The new facility features advanced processing technology designed to handle millions of pounds of edible oils annually. By establishing this footprint in Nevada, the fourth-generation, woman-owned business aims to provide faster delivery and broader availability for its diverse catalog, which spans conventional, non-GMO, and organic options including avocado, olive, and canola oils.
President Paulette Gagliardo emphasized that the move is rooted in the company’s long-standing service-first philosophy. Beyond mere distribution, the site supports food manufacturers, retail partners, and foodservice operators with custom blending and private label capabilities. This investment reflects a broader commitment to maintaining reliable, high-quality sourcing as the company transitions into its tenth decade of operation.
