Trigent Launches AI Suite to Automate Insurance Claims and Underwriting
Boston-based Trigent is debuting a trio of AI-driven insurance tools at the upcoming ITC Vegas conference, targeting carriers, brokers, and MGAs. Built on the company's ArkOS validation workbench, the suite aims to replace manual processing with agentic workflows designed to handle claims, risk analysis, and complex policy documentation.

The new offerings—ClaimIQ, Underwriting Engine, and Document Intelligence—are engineered to integrate directly into existing insurance ecosystems. ClaimIQ utilizes multimodal AI agents to facilitate intake via voice, text, and email, a system that recently boosted straight-through processing rates by 84% for a major insurer. Meanwhile, the Underwriting Engine provides automated risk assessment with an emphasis on explainable AI, ensuring every inference is logged and source-cited for regulatory audits.
Document Intelligence addresses the industry's heavy reliance on paper and PDF records by parsing amendments and endorsements in seconds. The technology has already demonstrated significant efficiency gains for an MGA, slashing contract processing costs by 90% and reducing turnaround times from two days to four minutes. According to Chella Palaniappan, President of Client Services at Trigent, the strategy focuses on moving past generic models toward domain-aware intelligence. Attendees at ITC Vegas, held from September 29 to October 1, 2026, will have the opportunity to view these deployments and discuss integration strategies with the engineering team.
