Coastal Christmas Brings Holiday Lights Back to Del Mar Fairgrounds
The Del Mar Fairgrounds will transform into a seasonal destination this winter as Coastal Christmas returns for its 2026 run. Operating on select nights from December 11 through December 26, the event offers a coastal alternative to traditional holiday celebrations, featuring immersive light displays and interactive family attractions.
Tickets are currently available for the event, with prices beginning at $23 for adults and $17 for children. The grounds will host a variety of seasonal staples, including an eco-friendly Glice® skating rink, a holiday market, and a dedicated wine walk. Visitors can also access Frosty’s Fun Zone or reserve private igloos and fire pit tables to anchor their evening festivities.
Vincenzo Giammanco, founder and CEO of CBF Productions, noted that the event has evolved into a recurring regional tradition. The organizers aim to blend the temperate Southern California climate with classic holiday imagery, offering complimentary photo opportunities with Santa Claus alongside the more expansive light trail installations.
