Nirvana Recovery Center Appoints Casey Strauss as Executive Director
Casey Strauss has stepped into the role of executive director at Nirvana Recovery Center in Phoenix, leading a broader expansion of the facility's clinical and administrative staff. The move arrives alongside the addition of five specialists tasked with refining the patient intake process and strengthening regional referral networks.
Strauss joins President Michael Trychon to oversee the Joint Commission-accredited center, which provides substance use treatment ranging from residential care to intensive outpatient programs. The new hires include Daniel Melendez as director of business development, alongside clinician Andrew Angichiodo and group facilitator Joshua Byrum. Vanessa Curley and Shannan King have also joined the team as admissions coordinators to manage initial inquiries from families and professionals.
Trychon emphasized that the appointments aim to simplify the entry process for those in crisis, noting that the priority remains creating a responsive experience for individuals seeking help. The center’s current programming includes day and evening outpatient services and specialized aftercare for alumni.
