Skanska Sells Budapest H2Offices Phase Two for 98 Million Euros
A 98 million euro deal has secured the sale of the second phase of the H2Offices complex in Budapest to the ERSTE Open-Ended Real Estate Investment Fund. This transaction, valued at approximately 1.1 billion Swedish krona, marks a significant milestone for Skanska’s development footprint within the Váci Office Corridor.
The second phase of the project spans 22,000 square meters of leasable space, currently under construction with completion slated for early 2027. A global tenant has already committed to the site through a 10-year lease agreement. Skanska intends to record the divestment in the third quarter of 2026, with the final property transfer expected by the end of 2027.
Sustainability remains a core focus for the development. The building incorporates rooftop photovoltaic panels, four-season heat pumps, and highly efficient climate systems. These features support the project's pursuit of LEED Platinum, WELL Platinum, and Access4You Gold certifications. When finished, the entire H2Offices complex will provide 67,000 square meters of modern workspace to the Hungarian capital.
