ULTRALOQ Debuts UWB and Aliro-Certified Smart Lock Collection

ULTRALOQ is expanding its smart home portfolio with three new locks designed to eliminate physical keys in favor of ultra-wideband sensing and mobile wallet integration. The collection, which includes the Bolt Mission, Bolt Pro, and Latch 5 Pro, aims to standardize access through Apple and Samsung digital credentials.

The flagship Bolt Mission ($299.99) introduces ultra-wideband technology to the residential market, moving beyond simple proximity sensing. By combining radar with local distance-logic, the lock distinguishes between a resident approaching the exterior and someone merely walking inside the home, enabling true hands-free entry without requiring users to open an app or touch a keypad.

The Bolt Pro ($269.99) and Latch 5 Pro ($249.99) focus on the Aliro mobile-access standard, allowing homeowners to unlock doors by tapping their smartphone or smartwatch against the hardware. These models serve as a bridge between traditional security methods—such as fingerprint scanners and PIN codes—and the increasingly digital ecosystem of mobile wallets. Both units are Matter Certified, ensuring interoperability with platforms like Apple Home, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings for automated home control.

Raj Sundar, Senior Director of Product Management at ULTRALOQ, noted that the industry is shifting away from app-dependent entry toward intent-aware credentials. The new lineup will be available for purchase at The Home Depot starting in October, joining existing distribution channels via Amazon and the company’s direct web store.
