During the three-month period ending July 31, the fund generated net investment income of $4.7 million, equating to $0.16 per common share. This performance shows a steady progression from the $0.15 per share reported in the previous quarter and $0.14 per share in the same period last year. Despite the growth in investment income, the fund faced a total net realized and unrealized loss of $6.6 million, or $0.23 per share, for the quarter.

The net asset value per share settled at $11.80 as of July 31, compared to $12.01 on April 30 and $11.23 on July 31, 2025. Throughout these periods, the number of outstanding common shares remained constant at 28,744,936. The fund, which is managed by AllianceBernstein L.P., continues to navigate the complexities of the municipal bond market, balancing ongoing income generation against the volatility of realized and unrealized asset valuations.
