Taylor Morrison Opens Championship Golf Course at St. Marys Community

The course features five distinct teeing options spanning 3,500 to 7,000 yards, intended to accommodate varying skill levels. Beyond the fairways, the facility includes an Aqua Range, a pro shop, and an onsite café. According to general manager Mike Block, the project aims to foster resident interaction through outdoor activity, leveraging the natural landscape of coastal Georgia.

Upon completion, the community will encompass over 1,300 single-family homes ranging from $400,000 to more than $1 million. The development is designed to function as a self-contained resort, with plans for a culinary center, a fitness facility equipped with cold plunges and saunas, and a full-service spa. Recreational infrastructure will include pickleball, tennis, and bocce courts, alongside a pool area featuring cabana service.

Jacksonville Division President Jeremy Hampson noted that the site was selected for its blend of coastal accessibility and local character. Situated near I-95 and Highway 17, the location provides transit links to both Georgia and Florida markets. The project adds to Taylor Morrison’s growing portfolio of over 30 Esplanade-branded communities nationwide, with recent expansions in regions including Las Vegas, Charlotte, and Southern California.
