Vancouver-based 1911 Gold Corporation has published its first sustainability report, detailing environmental and social performance at its True North mine in Manitoba. The 2025 report highlights a clean record for the year, noting zero environmental incidents and no regulatory fines. Water discharge levels at the site’s Tailings Management Facility remained within all established regulatory requirements throughout the period. These operational metrics arrive as the company transitions from a care-and-maintenance phase toward a formal decision on resuming mining activities.

Economic impact within the region remains a central focus of the company’s current strategy. By the end of 2025, 44% of 1911 Gold’s 34 employees were drawn from local communities, while 70% of total procurement spending was directed toward Manitoba-based suppliers. CEO Shaun Heinrichs described the document as an accountability tool, noting that the project’s rehabilitation involves balancing historical mine recovery with modern stewardship standards and partnerships with First Nations.

While 2025 activities were primarily focused on surface work and underground re-entry, the company has established monitoring programs to track future ESG performance. The full report is currently available on the firm’s website as it continues to evaluate the economic and technical viability of the True North complex.
