Greenland Energy Completes Environmental Surveys at Jameson Land

The survey efforts concentrated on soil composition, freshwater quality, and habitat mapping, alongside systematic monitoring of regional wildlife and bird populations. Field teams operated out of Nerlerit Inaat (Constable Point), working alongside local hunters hired as safety monitors to ensure compliance with stringent Greenlandic environmental standards.

This data collection provides the technical foundation for the ongoing Environmental Impact Assessment. Executive Chairman Larry G. Swets, Jr. emphasized that the company intends to navigate the regulatory framework methodically, prioritizing government-approved science and community transparency over rapid deployment. Greenland Energy currently holds licenses for approximately 2 million acres in the Jameson Land Basin, where it aims to evaluate the region's hydrocarbon potential using modern geological analysis.
