Deutsche Bank and IPID Partner to Automate Payment Intelligence

The initiative addresses the increasing complexity of cross-border transactions, where fragmented systems often delay processing and inflate costs. By embedding IPID’s verification and compliance signals into its existing workflows, Deutsche Bank seeks to provide its clients with a more transparent view of the entire payment lifecycle before funds are released.

Rachel Whelan, head of corporate cash management for APAC and MEA, noted that the move is designed to identify risks earlier and eliminate unnecessary bottlenecks. The collaboration marks a significant shift for the bank, which has previously trialed IPID’s fraud-prevention tools. Looking ahead, the two organizations plan to co-develop new capabilities to support the evolving demands of real-time global finance. IPID CEO Damien Dugauquier described the integration as a pivotal step toward shifting the banking industry from reactive screening to proactive, trust-based decision models.
