TOYO Co. Withholds Financial Guidance Amid U.S. Trade Uncertainty
Persistent regulatory shifts in the U.S. solar market have forced TOYO Co. to abandon specific financial guidance for the remainder of 2026. While the manufacturer anticipates positive EBITDA for the second half of the year, it cites ongoing trade investigations and import policy reviews as the primary drivers of current forecasting difficulties.

The company’s decision to pause revenue and net income projections stems from a complex web of U.S. trade activity. This includes a pending Customs and Border Protection examination of solar cell shipments, active countervailing duty investigations, and the evolving implementation of the Trump Administration’s Section 232 program. These measures, while designed to encourage domestic manufacturing investment, have created a volatile landscape for international suppliers.
Despite these headwinds, Takahiko Onozuka, Chairman and CEO of TOYO, maintained a positive outlook regarding the company’s core profitability. The firm intends to release updated guidance once the regulatory environment provides clearer visibility. Until then, the manufacturer remains focused on its long-term strategy of integrating the solar supply chain, spanning from raw silicon production to the assembly of finished photovoltaic modules.
