HighLevel Taps Barclays Veteran Sterling Auty as CFO

Auty joins the Dallas-based company after a high-profile stint at Barclays, where he served as Vice Chairman of the firm's Technology Investment Banking Group. His appointment arrives as HighLevel seeks to refine its financial architecture to support rapid scaling. The leadership team, comprised of founders Shaun Clark, Varun Vairavan, and Robin Alex, emphasized that Auty’s deep understanding of software cycles will be instrumental in managing the company’s organic growth model.

Before his time at Barclays, Auty spent 25 years at J.P. Morgan as a Managing Director of Equity Research, followed by a tenure at SVB Securities. His career has been defined by a focus on the intersection of human-centric culture and technological scalability. At HighLevel, he will oversee global financial strategy, aiming to bolster the infrastructure that supports the company's ecosystem of agencies and small business partners. Auty noted that the company’s history of profitable organic growth without external primary capital was a primary driver in his decision to join the executive ranks.
