Orthodontic clinicians and dental support organizations now have a direct pathway to AI-powered diagnostic tools through a new partnership between Orca Dental AI and Planet DDS. The collaboration integrates the CephX imaging suite into the Cloud 9 practice management platform, aiming to standardize radiographic analysis and clinical reporting.
The integration embeds CephX's 2D and 3D imaging capabilities directly into the existing Cloud 9 digital ecosystem. By automating cephalometric tracing and providing instant cloud-based radiographic reports, the companies seek to reduce manual diagnostic overhead while ensuring consistent medico-legal compliance across multi-location practices. This infrastructure change allows specialists to access DICOM and IOS planning tools without leaving their primary practice management interface.
