Investors Face November Deadline in Unicycive Therapeutics Fraud Lawsuit
Investors who purchased Unicycive Therapeutics, Inc. securities between December 29, 2025, and June 29, 2026, face a November 2, 2026, deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation alleges the company misled shareholders regarding its manufacturing oversight and regulatory compliance.
The lawsuit claims that Unicycive failed to audit its third-party manufacturing vendor, leaving the company without a basis to confirm that previous FDA-cited deficiencies had been resolved. According to the complaint, these undisclosed risks regarding the facility’s practices meant that regulatory approval for oxylanthanum carbonate was likely to be delayed. When these details reached the market, investors reportedly suffered financial losses.
Rosen Law Firm, which filed the action, is currently soliciting participants for the class. Attorneys for the firm note that investors are not required to serve as lead plaintiff to participate in any potential future recovery, though they must take formal action by the November deadline to influence the litigation’s direction. Because no class has been certified yet, investors remain unrepresented unless they retain counsel of their own choosing.
