Menopause remains a milestone shrouded in silence and stigma, but Latham Thomas aims to flip the script with the debut of the EMERGENCE Menopause Symposium. This two-day gathering in Brooklyn seeks to redefine the midlife experience by centering pleasure, longevity, and identity for a generation ready to reclaim the transition.
The inaugural event, hosted by the maternal health platform Mama Glow, kicks off October 29, 2026, in Williamsburg. Following an opening reception and a private dinner for industry leaders, the core symposium takes place October 30 at The Soft Space. The program moves beyond clinical talk to address the physical, sexual, and professional dimensions of the life stage, featuring a panel on sexual wellness presented by Lovehoney.
Latham Thomas notes that the initiative is built to provide resources and support where historically there has been a void. The speaker lineup reflects that ambition, featuring high-profile advocates such as stylist Stacy London, filmmaker Ricki Lake, and Moms First founder Reshma Saujani.
