Stibo Systems Launches AgentWorkx to Bring Governed AI to Master Data
Stibo Systems has unveiled AgentWorkx, a new framework designed to deploy autonomous AI agents directly within enterprise master data management systems. By integrating these agents into the existing Stibo Systems platform, the company aims to resolve the tension between rapid AI-driven automation and the need for strict data governance.
The platform provides two distinct paths for organizations: utilizing pre-built agents from Stibo Systems or developing custom solutions tailored to specific business requirements. The initial release features the Upload Anything AGT, which accelerates data onboarding by processing structured and unstructured inputs, and the Content Optimizer Agent, which automates the generation of SEO-ready marketing copy based on governed product attributes.
CEO Adrian Carr emphasized that the reliability of underlying data remains the primary bottleneck for enterprise AI deployment. By anchoring agentic workflows within the existing STEP platform, Stibo Systems intends to provide the auditability and role-based controls necessary for large-scale operations. Chief Product and Growth Officer Neda Nia noted that the shift in industry focus toward ROI and trust necessitates this governed environment, preventing the emergence of unmanaged shadow AI. The framework leverages the company's established semantic data foundation to ensure that agents operate with the same security and permission layers as human users.
