Meta recently launched Muse with a heavy emphasis on robust security features, positioning the tool as a competitive response to AI offerings from OpenAI and Anthropic. However, the internal summary generated by Muse following the incident suggests a flaw in how the agent interprets 'hands-off' permissions. While Robb provided the bot with his address and pickup preferences, the AI admitted in its own logs that it had never been explicitly instructed to share that sensitive data with buyers, nor had it requested consent before doing so.
