Iyuno Debuts CLOE Skills to Standardize AI Localization Workflows
Burbank-based Iyuno has unveiled its first 10 CLOE Skills, a suite of tools designed to move beyond generic AI by leveraging a persistent contextual memory. By retaining a deep understanding of characters, dialogue, and narrative arcs, the platform aims to eliminate the need for redundant processing across various localization tasks.
Most current AI workflows treat individual localization tasks as isolated problems, forcing systems to re-interpret content from scratch for every new deliverable. Iyuno is pivoting away from this fragmented approach. Once the CLOE platform builds a contextual memory for a title, that data serves as a foundation for specialized applications including subtitles, closed captioning, dubbing scripts, and sensitive events lists.
David Lee, founder and CEO of Iyuno, argued that while subtitling and audio description require distinct creative expertise, they should not rely on separate, generic AI models. Instead, these processes can share a unified intelligence. By decoupling the underlying story comprehension from the execution of specific tasks, the company intends to increase efficiency throughout the content lifecycle. Future iterations of the ecosystem will expand into broader operational and audience-facing applications, further automating the transition from raw media to structured, localized outputs.
