Pacsun Expands Halloween Collection for Individual Style
Stepping away from pre-packaged kits, Pacsun is transforming its holiday retail approach by launching a sprawling collection of 67 costumes and accessories. The Los Angeles-based retailer is encouraging shoppers to curate their own spooky looks, signaling a shift toward personal expression rather than traditional, static costuming.

The expanded lineup includes 52 items for women sourced from Leg Avenue, ranging from classic accessories like angel wings and wigs to trend-focused outfits. For the men’s market, the brand has introduced 15 exclusive styles designed to facilitate quick, last-minute transformations. Retail prices for the collection currently span from $17 to $111.
Chief Merchandising Officer Richard Cox noted that the company is responding to a growing trend where customers treat Halloween as a genuine fashion moment. By offering individual pieces rather than rigid sets, the retailer aims to provide the freedom for shoppers to interpret characters through their own aesthetic lens. To celebrate the launch, Pacsun will host a double feature movie night at the Lido Theater in Newport Beach on October 2, screening "Beetlejuice" and "Halloween" while offering event-exclusive apparel.
