King Technology Opens $17 Million Manufacturing Hub in Missouri
A ribbon-cutting ceremony in St. Peters on September 29 marked the official opening of King Technology's new 208,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center. The $17 million facility serves as the Minnesota-based company's first major expansion, aiming to streamline water-care product distribution for its national dealer network.
The facility, situated within the Lakeside Logistics Center, is projected to add 40 jobs to the St. Charles County workforce over the next three years. Governor Mike Kehoe attended the launch, highlighting the state's logistical advantages and business environment as key factors in attracting the third-generation, family-owned manufacturer. While the company maintains its corporate headquarters in Minnetonka, Minnesota, this new site is designed to bolster its ability to supply the FROG and New Water product lines across the United States.
Michael Noer, President and CEO of King Technology, described the site as a pivotal milestone in the company’s long-term growth strategy. Regional economic leaders, including representatives from Greater St. Louis, Inc. and the local Economic Development Council, collaborated to secure the investment, which integrates local infrastructure with the company’s specialized mineral-based water sanitization technology.
