The development will occupy a prime location, featuring a street-level restaurant and bar alongside a rooftop lounge. According to Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality, the choice of San Juan aligns with the brand’s strategy of entering neighborhoods defined by deep cultural roots and international appeal. The hotel aims to integrate the local heritage with the understated, contemporary design language that has become synonymous with the Nobu portfolio.

Joakim Lehmkuhl, Managing Partner of KTT, noted that the project represents a significant investment in the city’s evolving hospitality landscape. The property promises to deliver the Japanese spirit of omotenashi—a philosophy of selfless, intuitive service—to visitors. By pairing world-renowned dining with curated local experiences, the hotel seeks to solidify San Juan’s reputation as a premier destination for discerning travelers looking to balance historic exploration with modern, high-end accommodations.
