Storyteller Overland Launches GEAR MODE Van for Equipment-Heavy Travel

The vehicle is centered on the proprietary GearShift interior system, which allows users to toggle between four distinct configurations: a full-size bed, a bench for lounging, a dining or workspace table, and an open-floor mode that exposes the GearWall. L-track tie-down points integrated into the walls and floor ensure that heavy equipment remains secure during transit.

CEO Neil Grimmer noted that the design specifically targets those who require a mobile base that functions as both a gear hauler and a home. Beyond recreational use, the van serves professional needs, featuring Starlink Mini pre-wiring and onboard power systems ranging from 4kWh to 11.9kWh. The lineup arrives at dealers in Q4 in three trim levels—STR, ADV, and MAX—with pricing starting at $149,497.67 for the base model and reaching $187,493.42 for the trail-ready MAX configuration.
