MemoMind One Expands AI Capabilities and Opens Developer Workspace
Shenzhen-based MemoMind is pushing its AI glasses into a new operational phase, rolling out a massive software update that adds support for 53 languages and native RSS feeds. The XGIMI-incubated hardware brand is also initiating the second stage of its developer program, inviting builders to test applications on real devices.
The latest firmware for MemoMind One focuses on deepening user customization and connectivity. Beyond the expanded translation suite—which now includes Arabic, Urdu, Tamil, Gujarati, and Nepali—the update introduces support for standard RSS 2.0 and Atom 1.0 feeds. This shift allows users to pull content directly from their preferred publications rather than relying on curated platform streams. Hardware integration has also been bolstered through the HID protocol, enabling direct connections to external devices like smart rings, allowing for gesture-based control that supplements existing voice and temple-touch inputs.
Privacy and utility remain central to this release. The company has implemented two-way calendar synchronization to resolve long-standing issues with data duplication and offline conflicts. Simultaneously, the App Workspace is entering a closed beta phase this October. Developers will gain the ability to run local applications on both the mobile interface and the glasses themselves. Access is currently limited to a whitelisted group of builders, though the broader community can still utilize the existing One Glass SDK and BLE input protocols available via GitHub to create native C plugins or third-party hardware integrations. The standard edition of the glasses is currently priced at $399 as part of a promotional campaign, down from the retail price of $599.
