Ultra Clean Holdings Adds Alexander Davern to Board of Directors

CEO James Xiao emphasized that Davern’s extensive background in scaling technology businesses will provide critical strategic insight for the company. Davern previously spent nearly three decades at National Instruments, where he occupied various executive roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer, overseeing expansion into more than 50 countries.

Davern brings deep governance experience from more than two decades of public-company board service across the United States, Europe, and Canada. He currently holds committee leadership roles at Cirrus Logic and Computer Modeling Group and serves as a director at Spectris. His portfolio includes past board tenures at ESI Group, FARO Technologies, Helen of Troy, and SigmaTel. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a professional accounting diploma from University College Dublin.
