Rooter Hero Expands Classroom Supply Giveaway After Community Surge

The initiative invited community members to nominate teachers who demonstrate exceptional dedication to their students. While the plumbing provider initially intended to select only one winner per service region, the volume of submissions led to an expanded effort. This year's recipients include Monica Quintero at Rancho Medanos Junior High in Pittsburg, Isabel Reynoso at Blair High School in Pasadena, Kaitlyn McCarty at Cottonwood Creek Elementary in Visalia, Alicia Arias at Olive Crest Academy in Garden Grove, and Michele DiMola at Dahlia Heights Elementary in Los Angeles.

Katherine Conchas, Brand Marketing Manager and Hero Helps Coordinator, noted the event highlighted the profound impact teachers have on families and local neighborhoods. The giveaway operates under the company’s Hero Helps division, a philanthropic arm that provides plumbing repairs, facility installations, and donation drives for schools and nonprofits.
