LG Energy Solution to Supply 46-Series Batteries to indiGOtech
A non-binding memorandum signed by LG Energy Solution and Woburn-based indiGOtech marks a pivot toward the North American commercial van market. The partnership targets the integration of high-density 46-series NCM cylindrical cells into indiGOtech’s Flow Ride and Flow Cargo electric vehicles between 2027 and 2030.

The collaboration focuses on optimizing vehicle range and charging efficiency for commercial fleets, addressing current infrastructure gaps in urban delivery and ride-hailing. By combining LG Energy Solution’s battery architecture with indiGOtech’s Transportation-as-a-Service ecosystem, the companies aim to displace gas-powered vehicles currently dominating short-haul logistics.
Will Graylin, CEO of indiGOtech, noted that the move is designed to create a durable economic advantage for fleet operators struggling with current purpose-built vehicle limitations. For LG Energy Solution, the deal represents a strategic expansion of its cylindrical battery footprint. The manufacturer has seen a 1.5-fold increase in cylindrical shipments year-on-year as of the second quarter, driven by the steady scale-up of its 46-series production lines.
