SpaceXAI Overhauls Grokipedia Interface in v0.3 Update

After months of stagnation that left its database frozen, SpaceXAI’s AI-driven encyclopedia is back in development. The platform’s v0.3 update replaces a sparse, search-only homepage with a dynamic interface featuring featured articles, trending topics, and a more robust tracker for live edits to its AI-generated content.

Benji Taylor, head of design at SpaceXAI, describes the shift as a necessary refinement for the project. The redesigned homepage moves away from the minimalist search bar aesthetic, favoring a visual approach that displays popular entries as scrolling book spines. The live edits page now aggregates recent activity, allowing users to monitor modifications more efficiently than in previous versions.

Article pages received structural adjustments, specifically regarding the information tables that anchor each entry. By tightening line spacing and refining the display of key facts, the developers aim to improve readability. These changes follow a period of intense scrutiny; a Lawfare report published in August noted that the platform had remained static for over three months, raising questions about its longevity. Since launching in October 2025 with content scraped from Wikipedia, the project has struggled to maintain momentum, making this latest visual refresh a signal that SpaceXAI is attempting to reanimate the dormant tool.
