Tres Agaves Targets European Growth With Organic Tequila Launch
With the European tequila market projected to hit $2.49 billion by 2030, family-owned producer Tres Agaves is expanding beyond North America. The brand officially enters the UK and Ireland on October 1, marking the first phase of a broader rollout across Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and the Nordics.
Distilled in Amatitán, the brand relies on a single-estate sourcing model and USDA-certified organic production. Thomas Vogele, Vice President of International Sales for Trinchero Family Wine & Spirits, noted that the expansion aims to capture demand from bartenders seeking authentic provenance at an accessible price point for high-volume bars. The company intends to showcase its portfolio at Bar Convent Berlin in mid-October to solidify its presence in the on-premise trade.
The initial European launch features the Blanco and Reposado expressions, both bottled in 700 ml containers to align with regional standards. These will be accompanied by the company’s line of organic cocktail mixers and agave nectar. While the Blanco and Reposado form the core of the rollout, limited allocations of Añejo and Extra Añejo will also be available to select retailers and bars. This international push follows a period of significant momentum for the brand, which recently secured a spot on Shanken’s 2026 "Hot Prospects" list in the United States.
