Lilly Pulitzer Revives 1969 Archive Print for Breast Cancer Awareness
A hand-painted archival print from 1969 is anchoring Lilly Pulitzer’s latest philanthropic effort this October. The brand has launched the Petals With A Purpose capsule collection, dedicating the proceeds and a $15,000 donation to The Pink Agenda to accelerate critical research into breast cancer treatments and patient support.

The seven-piece collection features the A Rose By Any Other Name print, reimagined across pajamas, slippers, and home accessories. By integrating this vintage floral pattern into its Print with Purpose initiative, the Palm Beach-based fashion house aims to marry its signature aesthetic of vibrant, optimistic color with the serious work of advocacy. The donation is guaranteed regardless of the collection's individual sales performance, marking a firm commitment to the nonprofit’s mission.
Michelle Kelly, CEO of Lilly Pulitzer, noted that revisiting the 1969 archive piece provides a historical bridge to contemporary medical advocacy. Managing Director of The Pink Agenda, Serra Eken, emphasized that the collaboration serves as a vehicle to reach new communities and sustain momentum for long-term research goals. The capsule is currently available through the brand’s retail locations and its official website.
