The film stars William Franklyn-Miller as a young George Washington, portraying the future president not as a mythic icon, but as a soldier navigating the perils of early frontier conflict. Alongside Franklyn-Miller, the production features Kelsey Grammer as Lord Fairfax, Mary-Louise Parker as Mary Washington, and Ben Kingsley as Robert Dinwiddie. The narrative focuses on the specific trials that forged Washington’s character long before the American Revolution.

Erwin, who founded Wonder Project, traces the project's origins to a personal fascination with the human side of historical figures. This film serves as the centerpiece for the new 'Stories Worth Knowing' collection, which aims to highlight the individuals behind familiar historical milestones. The collection also includes the first season of Elkhorn, detailing Theodore Roosevelt’s time in the Dakota Badlands, as well as features on Sarah Rector, Benjamin Franklin, and Dr. Audrey Evans.

Wonder Project maintains its subscription service via Prime Video, priced at $8.99 monthly or $89.99 annually. By positioning these biographical accounts as a primary offering, the studio continues its strategy of curating content tailored to audiences interested in faith-based and values-driven storytelling.
