See's Candies Launches First Partnership with Susan G. Komen
To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, California-based chocolatier See’s Candies has launched its first-ever collaboration with Susan G. Komen. The initiative combines a $25,000 corporate donation with a wider public fundraising campaign, aiming to raise a total of $105,000 to support research and patient care resources.

The fundraising effort invites both employees and customers to contribute through shops and the company's website throughout October. In addition to individual donations, hundreds of See's staff members plan to participate in various More Than Pink Walks held across the West. According to Pat Egan, president and CEO of See's Candies, the campaign is designed to provide a tangible way for the company’s community to support those affected by the disease.
To drive interest in the campaign, See's has introduced a limited-edition Pink Ribbon Box featuring a new take on their classic Bordeaux truffle. The treat, which consists of a brown sugar buttercream center coated in white chocolate and pink sprinkles, retails for $20. Greer Horne, vice president of corporate partnerships at Susan G. Komen, noted that the collaboration aims to provide meaningful assistance to patients while engaging a broad audience through the company's retail network. The special edition boxes will remain available through October 31, or until current inventory is exhausted.
