Traditional jump scares rely on predictable timing and fixed locations, but CH1PP13 introduces a layer of mobility that challenges that standard. The collaboration between the Pennsylvania-based attraction and the YouTube duo—known for their massive following of over 2 million subscribers—aims to blur the line between engineering and immersive theater. The robot was designed specifically for the manor’s mile-long walk-through experience, where its presence is intended to keep visitors on edge.

Beyond the novelty of the build, the project serves as a showcase for the Wicked Makers' craftsmanship, with a dedicated documentary video detailing the construction process behind the animatronic. For local fans, the creature is accessible even without a ticket to the main haunted attractions, as it roams the property's Midway area. The introduction of the robot aligns with the manor's efforts to blend high-tech special effects with their established five-themed haunt structure in Bethel Park.
