Canyonlands Regional Airport Expands Service to Denver and Salt Lake City
Canyonlands Regional Airport is expanding its reach this October, securing new flight paths that connect Moab directly to major travel hubs in Denver and Salt Lake City. Both routes, operated by SkyWest Airlines, aim to increase accessibility for the 2.5 million annual visitors flocking to the region’s national parks.

Starting October 7, United Express will launch year-round flights between Moab and Denver International Airport, offering up to two daily roundtrips on 50-passenger CRJ200 aircraft. Meanwhile, Delta Connection reintroduces seasonal service to Salt Lake City International Airport beginning October 1. These daily flights utilize 50-passenger CRJ550 jets and will remain active through the Thanksgiving holiday before pausing for the winter season, with a planned return in March.
Michael Soleta, director of the Moab Office of Tourism, expects the increased connectivity to encourage longer stays, allowing tourists more time to explore Arches and Canyonlands national parks. For local travelers, the expansion provides integrated access to the broader global networks of both United and Delta. Passengers can now book tickets directly through the airlines' websites or mobile applications, with the added benefit of accruing MileagePlus or SkyMiles rewards on their respective carriers.
