Zonta International Opens Applications for 2026 Women's Leadership Awards
Thousands of women across 80 countries have utilized Zonta International’s support to break into male-dominated sectors, and the organization is now opening its next cycle of fellowships. Ranging from $5,000 to $12,000, these grants target growth in fields spanning aerospace engineering to business leadership and entrepreneurship.

Since its inception, the organization has invested over $17.5 million into educational advancement, aiming to dismantle barriers for women in professional and academic spheres. Current offerings include the Amelia Earhart Fellowship, the Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award, the Zonta Women in Business Leadership Award, and the Zonta Women in STEM Award.
Zonta International President Fernanda Gallo Freschi emphasized that these programs provide essential resources for women to thrive in sectors where they remain historically underrepresented. Past recipients of the Amelia Earhart Fellowship have successfully navigated careers as astronauts, government officials, and aerospace engineers. Interested candidates can review specific eligibility criteria and submission deadlines through the organization’s portal at zonta.org/education.
