Vortex Companies Elevates Brandon Gerber to Senior Vice President
Brandon Gerber, a veteran of the infrastructure sector, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Estimating at Vortex Companies. He moves into the role after serving as Chief Estimator, tasked with overseeing preconstruction functions and aligning the firm's bidding activity with its operational capacity across global markets.
Reporting directly to EVP of Services BJ Kerstiens, Gerber will integrate his twenty years of industry experience into the firm’s broader strategy. His mandate involves refining the bidding process to ensure that project proposals accurately reflect the company’s core capabilities and technical resources. This transition follows a six-year tenure at the firm, where he began as a Senior Estimator in 2018.
Chief Operating Officer Ryan Graham emphasized that the promotion reflects the company’s focus on risk management and project profitability. According to Kerstiens, Gerber’s background in project management provides a necessary real-world perspective that bridges the gap between initial bid documents and site execution. Gerber plans to provide his teams with the tools and data required to maintain consistency between preliminary commitments and final project delivery.
