Former Etsy Product Chief Nicholas Daniel Named PlanHub CEO
Nicholas Daniel, the former Chief Product Officer at Etsy, has taken the helm at PlanHub as Chief Executive Officer. He aims to apply his extensive experience in building global marketplace platforms to the commercial construction sector, focusing on streamlining the preconstruction process for contractors and suppliers.
Daniel arrives at the West Palm Beach-based company following a twelve-year tenure at Etsy, where he spearheaded product strategy for advertising, selling tools, and personalization. His background also includes a stint in sales engineering at Google. He holds advanced degrees from Boston University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton.
PlanHub serves as a digital bridge for general contractors and subcontractors to source business opportunities. Daniel intends to prioritize product rigor to address the fragmentation currently defining the construction industry. He will make his first official industry appearance at the AGC of California’s 2026 CONSTRUCT Annual Conference, held in Indian Wells from October 6–9.
