The LiLic Sidecar is engineered for high-density environments, connecting directly to an 800V DC busbar and adhering to the OCP ORV4 standard. By utilizing a hybrid cell design that merges the pulse-cycling capabilities of lithium-ion capacitors with the backup reliability of lithium iron phosphate batteries, the system handles both transient power support and sustained outages. A single five-module cabinet provides 1MW of discharge power with at least 60 seconds of backup, reducing the physical footprint required for traditional equipment.

To manage heat in high-voltage environments, the company employs a hybrid liquid-cooling approach, combining immersion and cold-plate technologies. Tom Qin, Vice President of Strategy and Business Management, described the product as a shift in how the company approaches AI data center power architecture. Beyond the Sidecar, Vision Group presented a broader portfolio including 72kW battery backup units and liquid-cooled battery energy storage containers ranging up to 6.48MWh. These solutions aim to provide scalable power management for hyperscale facilities, building on the company's established manufacturing presence in Vietnam and its existing partnerships with industry leaders like Vertiv and Schneider Electric.
