SignSplit Hits $1 Billion Valuation in Massive Seed Round
A Delaware-based startup has emerged from stealth with a $400 million strategic seed investment from W Group, catapulting the firm to a $1 billion valuation. SignSplit aims to build a new infrastructure for the digital economy, enabling individuals to license their personal data, work, and likeness for use in artificial intelligence.

The company, founded in 2024 by Glib Denisov and CEO Alessandro Monterosso, centers its business model on the concept of "signed data." By providing a verification layer that tracks provenance and consent, SignSplit allows researchers and AI developers to access real-world human data while ensuring contributors receive compensation. The platform serves as a bridge between human creativity and advanced technologies like robotics and healthcare models.
Volodymyr Nosov, founder of W Group, noted that the scale of the financial commitment reflects the critical need for standardizing how human data is utilized in the AI era. With this capital, SignSplit plans a global rollout to integrate its verification tools into social media platforms and digital services, aiming to set a benchmark for data rights in an increasingly automated world.
