Brooks arrives with two decades of experience in digital advertising and is tasked with refining how Sovrn engages with agencies and demand-side platforms. Reporting directly to President Chris George, he will focus on translating Sovrn’s unique commerce signals into actionable insights for buyers navigating a crowded ad tech landscape. George noted that buyers currently demand more than basic inventory access, requiring sophisticated data to drive campaign performance.

Sovrn operates an exchange that spans web, mobile, and CTV channels, utilizing behavioral signals to facilitate precise audience targeting. For Brooks, the move represents an opportunity to leverage the company’s proximity to publishers and commerce data. He plans to position Sovrn as a hybrid entity capable of delivering measurable business impact as the industry shifts toward AI-driven marketing. Before his tenure at OpenX, Brooks held regional leadership roles at Index Exchange, managing go-to-market strategies and high-level brand partnerships.
