Marissa Cwik joins BAL to spearhead Rocky Mountain immigration practice
Denver’s corporate immigration landscape is shifting as BAL announces the recruitment of veteran attorney Marissa Cwik. Tasked with bolstering the firm’s regional footprint, Cwik brings over a decade of experience to the Dallas-based law firm, aiming to refine workforce mobility strategies for employers navigating an increasingly volatile regulatory environment.

Managing Partner Frieda Garcia noted that Cwik’s arrival serves to supercharge the firm's Denver office, citing her track record of managing complex caseloads with strategic precision. Cwik, a Vanderbilt University Law School graduate, previously served with the U.S. Department of Justice. Her practice focuses on building scalable immigration programs that align individual talent mobility with broader organizational business objectives.
Cwik will leverage the firm’s integrated operating model to support clients across the Rocky Mountain region. Her expertise spans employment-based visa strategy and compliance, addressing the growing demand for proactive legal counsel among multinational employers. This expansion follows a series of strategic hires for BAL, which currently maintains 13 U.S. offices and provides services in over 170 countries.
