Mattamy Homes Secures Phoenix Workplace Honors for Sixth Straight Year
For the sixth consecutive year, Mattamy Homes has secured a spot on the Phoenix Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list. The builder was chosen from a field of 174 nominees, placing it among a select group of 90 regional organizations recognized for cultivating exceptional employee experiences.

The selection process relies on confidential employee surveys that evaluate internal trust, team dynamics, and leadership communication. In this year's cycle, the company was honored within the small company category, which includes organizations with 50 to 99 employees. Don Barrineau, president of the company's Phoenix division, attributed the recurring success to the staff's commitment to collaboration and mutual support.
To maintain its standing as an employer of choice, the firm utilizes a series of staff-focused initiatives, including an employee home ownership program that offers up to $40,000 toward the purchase of a company-built house. Other core benefits include paid volunteer days, donation matching, and professional development paths. The final rankings for all honorees are scheduled for announcement on December 10 at The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale.
